Took Kai to the Dentist.
One of the all time suckiest days ever.
Tuesday.
8am cloudy very misty 28 degrees, weird the deck is not frozen.
I bet roads are slick.
About 15 years ago I sat through a dental surgery with a friend and one broke off.
ohh man that really complicated the surgery.
It got violent.
When Kai was born he needed to go right into ICU and then antibiotics and then wear a catheter
for a year till he was large enough for surgery.
Those antibiotics ruined his first set of teeth.
Monday afternoon was the third surgery I sat in with my boy.
It became apparent shortly after he was born he was a little bad ass.
I know I know proud talk from a father but indeed he is special.
When we moved up here we had no idea the complications that could be attached.
One was insurance.
"Is it gunna hurt ya ya."
"Yes it will little brother"
"Have you had it done?"
"Yes and it hurt."
A squint came across his face and then he gave a mean look like he was a tuff guy.
Dentists words to Ann when she found out just moved up from the bay:
"Honey that's not how we do it up here.
I am out xmas shopping in Sacramento I can meet you at my office in 2 hours.
We don't let kids hurt up here there will be no charge."
And she gave my boy a kickass toy.
They got your back up here.
Every storm I will be out winchin and cuttin.

a dewalt drywall gun and a long torx bit makes framing a pure joy.
